Who is “Vancouver Island Overlander”?

I grew up on Vancouver Island, and my entire life I had only heard about these places. The places that you only read about in magazines, travel blogs, and hear stories about around the campfire. It was not until I got into Overlanding that I was really able to discover the true beauty of the place I have called home for the past 32 years. Most of these places cannot be reached by regular means of transportation. They take weeks of planning, if not months or years. And to most, they are unattainable destinations. The biggest question I have though; how did we hit the geographical jackpot? Every time we pack the rig to head out, I ask this question. So why not share this with the world? Vancouver Island is so much more than just the few destinations you see on social media. The true beauty is in the road less traveled, and embarking on the adventure of a life time. And for this reason, I have decided to rent out my personal rig, the rig that has given me nothing but smiles and life long memories. Allow me to live vicariously through these incredible experiences as you become a VI Overlander. There is nothing that excites me more, then seeing those in awe with the beauty found in our backyard.
